Just put my rifle in the shop to get some custom work done to it. It's a 7wsm And was wondering what the barrel length needed to be before the muzzle brake. I'm new to this . I'm going to be using the gun for long range shooting.

26-28" is going to be a really good spot. If you need it to be a little more handy go 26" and don't look back. Cutting it less than that won't hurt it but it's a performance cartridge that benefits from certain velocities that 26" + will give you.
