Anyone know what to expect on barrel life, for the rem 5r in 300 WM? Useing 208 Amax at 2800 FPS. Also can you send back to Rem and get them to rebarrel at reasonable cost?

Seriously, depends more on how you shoot it, intervals between shots and shot strings, barrel temp, a lot of variables. A good aftermarket barrel in 300WM should go between 3-4K or more if it isn't heated up too much, factory will be less. As far as the re-barrel, it may be better to go with a aftermarket barrel.
