Hey guys, so I have a Noveske N4 that I've upgraded a little bit. I have also pretty much shot out the barrel. I'm thinking I want to turn it into an SPR or precision 16-18" gun. Suggestions on cheap(er) barrels that have good reviews?

Right now I'm looking at WOA 18 SPR barrel, DD S2W 18", and the Nordic Ar Comp barrel. Any thoughts? Id like to stay as close to 250$ as possible. (School budgeting sucks... and I already know buy once cry once however a better barrel will replace this one later).

I don't reload, I will be shooting factory match ammo and brass cased bulk (for plinking). I will be doing 90% of my shooting out to 700 yards max.

Right? I've seen that as well. I'd really like a rifle length gas system. Also, (although I didn't really search too hard) I can't seem to find any precision related reviews on the DD S2W barrels. I knew WOA would be a popular choice. Anyone know anything about the Nordic or other not so popular brands that seem to be semi budget worthy yet shoot well?

I'd highly recommend a Blackhole Weaponry barrel. They are very accurate and come at a good price. You can also get them from Rainier Arms rebranded by Rainier as their Select Barrels.

    OP:

Out of curiosity, how many rounds do you have through the existing Noveske barrel? What signs is it showing that it's shot out? Feel free to shoot me a message if you would like to avoid a thread derailment.

In terms of your original question, I'd recommend the WOA 16" tube. Got one on a precision upper. I don't have a ton of rounds through it but it's already sub MOA with FGMM 77gr. Slightly better with minimal handload development.
