Barrel Swapping from Bergra to R700?

Might be a stupid question, but I’m going to ask it anyway. Currently for “precision” work I’m shooting a B14 HMR. Thing shoots extremely well. Also have a 700 ADL that was the first gun I bought when I turned 18, shot a bunch of deer with the thing, but accuracy is fairly mediocre.

I just crossed the 2000 round mark in the B14, and if it’s possible, I’m half tempted to pull the barrel off it and put it on the 700 and put a new barrel on the B14. Both .308 now, and that’s what I’ll stick with for now.

Not doable.

Bergara’s have a conical bolt nose, and Remington has a recessed bolt nose.

You'd have to have the barrel set back and chamber reamed to get the proper headspace and bolt face engagement for both rifles.

Just buy a new barrel for the 700, and a new one for the Bergara when it quits performing.

Also I believe the B14 is metric thread on top of all the other things that won’t let you swap them

It’s a fair ask, I mean it’s a 700 clone and has some cross compatibility
