Gunsmithing barrel threading?? does it effect accuracy??

i want to get my barrel threaded but is it possible that it could effect accuray? why or why not? please explain

If the threading is done the right way it should not effect accuracy. What can effect accuracy is what you hang off the end of the barrel.

The main things are that it's threaded true to the bore and the GO NO/GO gauges work properly.

I think maybe he is talking about the muzzle...

To the Op,
Any good smith or machinist should be able to do it without affecting accuracy. Just need to make sure the crown is cleaned up after the threading is done.
