Barreled action for around $1500?

Purchased a 6.5 Creedmoor a few months back and have been loving it. Considering getting a .300 Win Mag as well and was wondering about getting a decent barreled action. Currently my heart is pretty set on an AICS AT chassis, like this one: https://www.eurooptic.com/accuracy-...el-700-fixed-stock-15-pale-brown-26698pb.aspx.

Pretty sure it would need to be a Remington 700 style long-action or something very similar.

Bingo! Just got a couple prefits from @bohem delivered yesterday for my present build and as usual they are very well made. An Origin and a Prefit and drop in a good trigger and it would be a great package. Or look at the PVA site and they do that as a package too.

I have been getting my barreled actions from Bug Holes, a.k.a. Southern Precision. They are pretty fast and reasonably priced when everything is on the shelf. The last one I got was a Bartlein screwed into a Bighorn TL3 that I dropped into a KRG Bravo. Of course PVA, SAC, etc. can do the same thing.

Dumb boy question--do you just order an action and barrel and ask them to screw on a barrel? I don't see barreled actions listed at Bugholes.

Yup, just give them a call and let them know what you have in mind.

Jeff over at River's Bend might still be doing his Hide barreled action discount of $1250 with some percentage off any other work you want done on it. He uses Bartlein barrels and they shoot good.
