I'm going to help out a buddy here...the mag and bipod aren't normally on this sweet rig, but placed for picture taking.
I think the UBR with the doors removed looks great.

Yep, pod and mag to give it photo legs. I normally run a steel Barrett 30 round mag which is longer and would have given it a nose bleed. Thanks Jay T

you just broke my hopes, been hoping for awhile for a 30 or even a 20 round 6.8 SPC poymer magazine, hate metal mags always had a issue with the spine breaking when dropped.

No need to modify the mag. The problem is the mag is too skinny and starts to buldge if you put too many rounds in. With that said, many people including myself have had 100% reliability putting 11 6.8rds in a 30rd pmag and 6rds in a 20rd. There was some discussion a while back about LWRC building a proprietary lower that would allow for polymer 6.8 mags for some foreign military contract. Not sure what came of it, or if it was just a theoretical exercise.
I personally like the PRI mags and have beat on a few of the 25rd ones and they withstood it well. I think the PRI mags would hold up much better than any of the mags I carried in Iraq, but then again none of them failed me either.

I've heard that to be the problem, however I don't see how it can be "too big" since I've been loading PMAGs with WSSM ammo for about 3 years now.
It must be something along the lines of, "6.8 is too big, yet not big enough."

I saw someone running a .243 WSSM (Olympic Arms) with a pmag the other day and have to say I'm impressed. I just wish there were more maufacturers onboard with the WSSM cartridges.
