I have an FDE/tan model REC-10 in a 16” barrel .308. It’s in excellent condition with maybe a few marks on the cerakote from the safe. I love it but I’ve stopped shooting gas guns much now that I hunt a lot more and moved over to bolt actions. It’s a stock gun other than adding a Superlative Arms gas block and a Griffin muzzle device. I have about 400 rounds through it.
This gun shoots 1/2 MOA groups with 180gr Black Hills Accubonds, and shoots the Norma Bondstrike similarly.
I have the original Barrett engraved muzzle brake and the keyed/nut-secured gas block. I would leave the SA gas block installed and take the Griffin muzzle device off unless you happen to use their cans. I also have a boatload of .308 and Pmags if you need them.
