OK guys for those that don't know me, I make my living with custom leatherwork. Sewing and stitching leather is what I do, all day every day.
Recently I came into about 20 yards of Heavy treated canvas. OD green, it's 10oz material. It's the same material that carhardt pants are made from. The exact material. Now, I was thinking of sewing up a large quantity of barricade bags with it. I'm not looking to get into the business of it but it might be the best use of the material that I have acquired. I am thinking of making three sizes, the small pillow size, rear bag size and a larger front bag.
I'd like some input on three most desirable sizes that people would want. So that I can get material costs together but I am thinking 40.00 for the large bag, 30 for the rear bag and 20 for the small pillow bag. I will be filling with polybeads. Using tubular webbing for the straps and could even add faster clips and tabs if desired. not interested in making the tactical udder or squid bags. GIve me some feedback here and I will get costs together and make up a few prototypes for pictures then burn up the material that I have and put them all up for sale. I may do a preorder on them when I know exactly how many I can make.
