For those that order Bartlein barrels what is your experience on lead times?

I ordered a couple custom gain twist blanks from them this year. One took 5 months and one took 7 months.

this is about right...I ordered a shilein prefit for a savage right around sandy hook and waited over a year.

Ditto on the special orders my left twist gain twist took about 5 months but has been well worth the wait!

A lot of gunsmiths keep a supply of popular contour barrels. assuming you are having a gunsmith do the work just buy from them when you send in/drop off your action.
