Is the Pro version worth the subscription price? If so, which version?
Specifically, how much is the free version limited in use? Can you zoom in further when measuring distances? Is saving a maker more streamline than the free version? I have to go through four or five screens after I save a marker in the free version. I can connect it to my Sig BDX rangefinder binoculars, and I'm assuming you can range an object and Basemap will calculate and save a marker at that location?
FYI, I'm not using it for hunting but for surveying mining claims in some very mountainous terrain. If you know of a better mapping app for that, that isn't extremely expensive, let me know.
