You can bet that whatever language is in the bill that all we got was a crumb. So much for our pro 2A politicians, Trump could have told Vance to override the Parliamentarian but I'll bet he didn't. Thune should have replaced her on day one, but he didn't. Something tells me not long from now we'll see Trump telling all the 2A folks how hard he worked for us and how much he good he is doing for us.

The problem with the parliamentarian is that if we replace her with our choice, then the next time the dems get into power, they can replace our choice. And we keep going back and forth. Maybe that's what we need to do, but.....

You can damn sure guarantee the Dems would have replaced a conservative Parliamentarian on day one. As usual the Reps always bring a teddy bear to a gunfight.

It will be interesting to see if we can get the NFA declared unconstitutional due to the changes and previous Supreme Court case language on the NFA. I'm an optimist, but think its going to he hard to find any Federal judge that is willing to do away with the NFA.

If we are really lucky maybe we will find a new young version of Clarence Thomas somewhere in the Federal Circuit Courts to start this ball rolling.
