Upper started life as a full BCM build using a 14.5” pinned barrel. Upper, BCG, and CH seen 200-250 rounds before I got the precision itch again. Upper was sent to CLE for a re-barrel in March 2020. They removed the 14.5” barrel, installed a new barrel, new barrel nut, new gas block, and new gas tube into the existing upper with the same handguard. The bolt was headspaced to this barrel.
Barrel currently has 245 unsuppressed documented rounds. Rifle shoots under ½ MOA with my handloads. 75-77 grain bullets spit out about 2600-2625 fps with a reasonable powder charge. Excel spreadsheet detailing load development and round count will be emailed to buyer. Bore, BCG, CH, everything is clean.
Barrel specs: Douglas SS 1:7”, tactical contour, 16” mid-length gas system, 0.750” BCM gas block, mid-length BCM gas tube, CLE Match chamber, 5/8-24 threads per TBAC spec, bead blasted finish, with the BCM bolt headspaced to barrel.
One area I will bring to your attention is the bottom of the barrel between the handguard and muzzle threads. The Magnetospeed rubber pads have marred the bead blasted finish. Can’t really feel any difference in the finish. It’s just looks, but I wanted to disclose it.
