I had seen Nikon Monarchs advertised on the BearBasin site for the past week and was going to purchase one from them so I gave them a ringey. The guy I spoke to said they no longer carry the Monarchs. I was stunned because I've always heard they're pretty good scopes. I don't recall if he said had dropped ALL Nikons or just Monarchs. I asked why they're still being advertised and he said their website gurus simply haven't had time to pull them off the site.
