I think Nicky is mainly angry with the frats saving blocks of seats that other regular students cannot sit in, when they leave early other students could have been sitting there cheering on the tide. I saw the same at AU when we beat Florida Atlantic. I cant blame him. The group I always go with stays till the end win or lose. Last year it was rough, but the true-blue fans gut it out with their team.

Yeah we think we're something special with our one upset win and little to no talent :/ lol I don't think anyone thinks we're special i think for once in 7 years UT fans are seeing actual progress on all sides of the ball, hell people are happy i don't blame them. You do realize how far we've fallen right? I mean shit we loss to MSU last year.. That said if anyone expected a different outcome of this game they're either A) On something or B) An overly optimistic UT fan.
I'm a die hard UT fan and the margin of talent difference between these two teams is astronomical for Christ's sake. Even with the loss Tennessee advances to #1 recruiting class in the country for 2014, at least according to scout. So all in all hate UT all you want but Butch is showing us promise especially after the shit we've been through in the last four years. Talk about falling off the face of college football. I await the day that the "Third Saturday in October" is restored to the great rivalry it once was.

Alabama will have #1 recruiting class in 2014. The problem for Tennessee is they have been vastly out recruited by the majority of the sec schools. If butch is not a great coach it will set them back for another seven years. I remember when Tennessee was beating bama and all the Ut fans were bragging and boastful. Now their saying its because of numerous coaching changes. They failed to mention when they were beating bama that bama was undergoing coaching changes and a damn near death penalty from the NCAA. They were not beating a good football team at all and yet were boasting about it. My father- in law is big Ut fan and I used to hear a lot during those years. It's funny I don't hear it any more. As for Tennessee becoming respectful as a football team again, it will happen but I don't know how soon. Depends if they made a good or bad decision with the hire of this coach!
Tennessee is number 1 right now, i'm not saying they finish there but that's already a huge improvement over Dooley and Kiffin. Butch has already gotten a signature SEC win with far less talent than both Kiffin and Dooley. Still Kiffin and Dooley couldn't get it done. Fulmer put Alabama in the hole for the very thing he was doing but he had a winning record over Bama before then. Tennessee hasn't always beaten Bama just when Bama was down. It will take a couple of years but so far how can you not be impressed with Butch? He is doing well on all accounts.
first of all, you need to look at all the recruiting services, rivals and others. Second, it has 28 commits already alabama only 20 . Their will be several teams that pass it. More important, a few in the sec. Third, you will know next year if he's a great coach. It doesn't take great coaches long to compete for championships. Fourth, I think he has done a good job this year. I hope he does well and gets ut back to competing. For it makes a stronger conference. As for that happening, time will tell.
