I got a metal rifle scabbard I made. (simular to the atv rifle scabbard, lined it with egg crate foam then welded a eyelet on the top.
Had an old lazy boy style recliner. Took the handle and metal guts and attached it to the scabbard. Drilled thr handle into the outside of my bedframe rail and tucked the scabbard into the inside between the matress. (think of a IWB for your bed) attached another eyelet to line up screwed to the bed frame. (This is for a padlock when im away). Any how the bed skirt is cut for slits . The bed skirt hides the device and handle.
Something goes bump in the night, I pull the lever like a lazy boy and my shotgun comes up 45deg to my hand to draw.
When I leave the house I padlock her up. In case the nephews or neices drop by.
