Bedding and Accuracy

I just got a new Savage 10FCP with Mcmillan A5 and went a shot it this morning. I am wanting to have it bedded and have a CDI DBM installed. My question is this morning with factory Hornady TAP (red box) It grouped .159 5 shots with the 155gr bullet and .360 5 shots with the 168gr bullets, Will bedding the action make the gun that much more accurate.

if it's already shooting that good it might not help very much

If my rifle shot that poorly, I'd be getting out the Devcon and blue tape right now!

Seriously, if those are real numbers and are repeatable, I wouldn't take the action out of the stock or change my socks until it stopped shooting.

those are the best groups I shot with out any flyers. I had a few that were in the .3 and .4. I'm gonna go ahaed and bed it because there are no pillars or anything. Does anyone have the cdi dbm on a savage and how do you like it.

I wouldn't touch it. Really if it ain't broke don't fix it.

A good bedding job will never hurt a rifle's performance, only make it better. A bad bedding job will certainly make things worse.
