Gunsmithing Bedding for multiple cartridge rifle

Another bedding thread, I have a Zermatt arms Origin action. I am currently running a savage prefit barrel that utilizes a barrel nut. The next barrel I get will be a shouldered barrel (For the T3 actions) To my understanding this is possible to use the T3 prefits as long as the recoil lug is replaced when changing the barrel. Is there anything I should be aware of prior to bedding the action? I do not have the new barrel or recoil lug at this point. Just future planning.
