I've been planning to bed the action and barrel on my new CZ455. I've used AcraGlass Gel in the past and have gotten acceptable results. With a little research I'm finding that it is not the only option out there. And not the most popular. I've seen references to JB Weld. And Devcon. And Marine Tex. The JB Weld I have used in other applications. The others I am not familiar with. I am wondering about the JB Weld putty. Has anyone used this in a bedding application? It seems that this might work around the action where a more liquid product might run into places it isn't wanted. Like around the trigger assembly. Thanks for your input.

You control where epoxy goes by taking the time to mask the receiver. The clay work is vital. Best stuff around is Kleen Klay but its no longer available. Brownells alternative is shit imo. I sent it all back.

I had to go to France to find the good stuff. Was ridiculously expensive to have it shipped here, but I ordered around 200lbs of it so that I'd have a good supply on hand.

Pack every feature in your action with clay and you'll never have to worry about resin creep and a mechanical lock once it cures.
