Bedding question

I have a Savage .308 and I replaced the stock and the new stock has an aluminum V bedding block. My problem is that the rifle will place 2 or 3 rounds in the same hole then shift POI 1/2".

Can a V bedding block be bedded and if so who would you recommend?

yes it can be bedded, do it yourself or get any smith off of here to do it.

Both of these groups are 5 rounds, the bottom group has 3 rounds in the hole on the right and two in the hole on the left and will often lay two rounds in the same hole then shift POI or is this a technique issue with me?

there are three great posts and if you read them over and over, you will be able to easily do this yourself. i did it on my savage
