I have two VTR Remington rifles. I am considerioing bedding them both to improve accuracy. Their stock is ported in the forend and there are dual pressure point studs at the end of the forstock. Anyone have imput as to thoughts on going about this. Free float or replace the pressure point with a short bed? What to do , What to do.... Thanks
Dave

Re: Bedding Remington VTR

I bedded mine this evening also. I wraped tape a few turns around the forward pressure point to insure a free float. I bedded out two partition and the barrel lug and forward screw lug. Should know in the morning the results.
