Before And After Sattellite Pics of Japan

Re: Before And After Sattellite Pics of Japan

Unbelievable changes to the coastline with the new inlets, obliterated islands, and one that looks like an entire new bay being cut.

It's interesting to note that we don't see the outpouring of support that we do for so called third world countries. It's not like Japan doesn't need support the same as say Haiti but we don't see the drive for help. Interesting notion of how perceive peoples needs based on our view of their social/economic status.

It's also interesting to note that japan didn't plunge into chaos. And their reaction to a crisis is very well thought out and there seems to be a mindset of everybody pitching in and "let's get through this". I think it has les to do with how wealthy or what tier their country is classified in and more to do with their culture and their instillment of the values of discipline an politeness. If a 8.9 quake hit of the coast of the US I doubt we would react as well. I think there would be a lot of chaos and things like looting.

If you tried to surf a 23 footer you would shit your'e pants. Furthermore you would shit you're pants if you were staring a 23 footer in the hairy eye ball that is thousands of feet long.

The only similarity between a 23 foot surface wave, and a 23 foot Tsunami wave is the word wave.

A 6 foot tsunami wave could literally wash miles inland and wipe out almost everything before it. Tsunami literally have the weight of the ocean behind them.

Re: Before And After Sattellite Pics of Japan

Damn TUMs,

According to your Logic the United States will soon be in ruins

1. How about what the Native Americans have suffered. Anglo Saxons killed and took their lands.
2. U. S. Soldier Killed invaded and Killed Vietnamese all in the name of fighting Communism.
3. Afghanistan and Iraq. Another invasion for oil based on the lie of Weapons of Mass destruction and the torcher and killing of enemies through waterboarding and torture in which is in direct violation of the Geneva Convention started by Bush/Cheney and continued by Obama/Biden.
