added some lead in the stock and foregrip as well as th Area419 Arca rail. All in all close to 3.5# of Pb

Used thin sheets that I had from scrapping an old boiler. Cut and peened it in the stock and foregrip. Melted and poured in the Area419 then used a a razor blade to trim it.
6.5, I got spoiled shooting some friends custom setups that are 23 or more #s.
Finished up and got it to 19#!!!
Don't make fun of the scope mount...it's temporary...waiting for the Razor and lower mount!!
I suspect your scale could be wrong as well
. I doubt lead shot is almost twice as dense. What length barrel, supressor and bipod do you have?I have a 22" barrel, Surfire socom 7.62, and a magpul bipod.
I forgot about the barrel difference mine was 24 inch heavy barrel model. Atlas 5h. T3 terminator brake. Scales definately weren't wrong as they are checked and calibrated every 2 years. I used number 12 shot so there wouldn't be much space between ballsI suspect your scale could be wrong as well

I do love diy projects . you could get more weight than lead by using cold rolled steel not sure of the availability of it in your area but it is heavier but less malleable looks great either way and I hope it works like you want it to . hats of to you sir for finding your own way to do what you want .

The density of steel depending on what type ranges from .280-.291 lb/in^3
The density of lead is .409 lb/in^3
I assume you are saying if I added exterior weights I could make it heavier, not just by using steel in place of the lead???
