Just picked up an Alexander Arms 50 Beowolf. Alexander Arms offers a brake that slips over the (turned down)barrel end and stays attached with red loctite and set screws. I'm wondering just how effective this brake could be with such a (seemingly) crude set-up and for $75 willing to try. Just wondering if any of you guys have personal experience with it on a 50 Beo, THANK YOU

I had one on the rifle I had a few years ago,.. I never shot it without the brake so I can't really tell you how much of a diffrence it makes, but shooting with the brake on is not to bad,.. Hope it helps.

I've shot plenty of .50B's with this style brake. Follow the directions to the letter and the install is a no-brainer. The felt recoil is greatly reduced.
