Gunsmithing Bergara 14r rail screw size?

What is normal screw size for mounting a Rem 700sa rail to a Bergara B14R?

Thanks, I accidentally bought a specialty base with #8 screws. Back to the gunshop tomorrow, even bases are hard to find

The #8 screw bases are for the Premier actions. Just have your gun smith thread the holes for #8... small fee for more secure mounting.

I use these rails on my Bergaras as they come with both sets of screws.
