Shooters,
I just picked up a Bergara HMR in .308 and put a Vortex Diamondback 4-16x42 optic on it. Thoughts on this setup? What to look out for? Hints and advice and what can be expected. Keep in mind that with this setup I wanted something practical/tactical.

Still haven’t gotten my all setup to shoot, but from what I have gathered if the accuracy is wonky the mini chassis could’ve gotten painted over in one man’s instance and the pro bolt is an upgrade for reloader’s. Take this with a grain of salt because it was read off the internet a while back so I could be misremembering.

Check that your rings are evenly torqued. The front looks like it's a bit torqued more on the left side? Maybe not a huge deal but I'm a bit analretentive! Oh and have fun with it!

Does anyone know which Limbsaver air model fits the stock perfectly ?

Just got one in “20 .308. Great shooter. Target from the factory had a 11mm group with factory ammo ><

I have a HMR Pro I got with only a 5 shot group of sight-in rounds through it for $1,000 a couple months ago. Haven't shot it yet -- waiting on Amazon to send me the correct m'fing Seekins scope base. I ordered a SA twice and they send me LA bases. Not that hard, haha.

Amazing rifle. Clean crisp trigger pull. Love the adjustable cheek rise. Cycle is butter smooth. I couldn't be happier. Now to develope the load this rifle prefers. Right now I'm seeing good results with 168gr Sierra MatchKing at 43.7grains. .10 off the lands but still dialing it in.
