Bergara HMR Pro question

For those of you who have one or have seen them what type of test groups have you seen from the factory? I saw one yesterday at a local gun shop that had the test target with a .274” group! Don’t know if I should jump on this particular gun or if it’s safe to wait a bit for more funds and hope to find one that groups just as nice in a few months?

They are all sub moa 3 shot groups, mine was around 6/10”. They shoot the groups with 140 Hornady, but my rifle shoots 147 better. So just take the test target with a grain of salt. Buy it if you want it, but I would not chase one with the best target from the factory. I love my hmr pro btw.

Mine had a test target with .46. My rifle likes to shoot SUB .4 if I do my part. Liking mine a lot.

I just purchased one, the group on mine was .512. Haven't had a chance to get out and shoot it yet.

Well, I bought the one I saw. Can’t wait to shoot it. Need to put a scope and bipod on it now.

What factory ammo shoots good out of this gun?

Hornady 140 Match & Hornady American Gunner 140gr work well kn mine.

Mine shoots Hornady ELDM 140gr 0.6 moa, and 147gr 0.48moa. Also tried federal 140gr gold medal match but it shot 0.86moa. Grab a few boxes of stuff and try it out. I’ve heard great things about the ELDX loads, and the American Gunner.
