Berger 130 factory Ammo

Anybody tried it yet?, seems like a good buy comes in lapua small primer brass.

not sure about the 130g but i was buying the 140g berger stuff when i was shooting 6.5 and it shot extremely well in my rifle.

i was turning around and selling the brass for ~$0.80/pc and effectively shooting for half the cost.

This was out of a gas gun. Better than I could do handloading. I need to get to range and do a 6x5 with it.

I tried it today out of a short (18") barrel and it shot pretty decent .4s consistently and was a little faster than the new prime but the prime was shooting .3s and.2s.

One thing i did notice is its showing a little pressure. I can make out the ejector slot from my bighorn bolt face.

I kinda just wanted to put it out there, its very good stuff for the money. Another good one to try in my opinion.

I use their 135 stuff hunting and the 140s for target shooting, they both shoot extremely well in my good ol factory Remington.

The 130’s are great out my 18” at 2778fps average sd is pretty low as well

Out of my 6.5 the 130 shoot fantastic. It’s a axiom with 26” Krieger.

The 140s not so much.

Very flat trajectory. Higher speed than the 140.

Chronos at about 2918 fps out my 26" barrel. SD is low...some 20 round strings were SD of 12

I use it and the 140s whenever it needs to count
