Re: Berger 185 VLD + Varget for TRG-22 ???
Vic,
Not sure why you need load data specific to a TRG-22, as load data is just "load data".
However, when I was working with Berger's 185 gr LRBT in a Rem 700 5R, I just used Hodgdon's 190 gr BTSP data as a starting point, and I just worked up to 45 grains of Varget as Max load.
One note about Berger's 185 grain bullets. The 185 gr. LRBT actually has a better G1 and G7 BC, than the 185 gr VLD, and is a shorter OAL bullet, with a shorter bearing surface, meaning more powder can be used.
For my purposes the 185 Gr LRBT was superior to the 185 VLD, which is not always the case with Bergers.
