has anyone out there compared performance from 500 to 1000 yards? i have been using the 190's with very goods results in my gap .308 crusader but I am considering going down to the 185's to lighten up the pressure a bit. the 185 bc and dimensions are a bit different, seems the 185's are a slightly longer bullet, slightly lower bc. curious what results you have had.

i havent tried either but what about these:
30 cal 185 Grain Match Target BT Long Range
higher bc than the 185vld and should be a little easier to get to shoot bc seating depth isnt as sensative
after deer season i am going to give them a try
