I was able to pick up a box of 140gn VLD "hunting" bullets to try out of my 6.5 Creedmoor barrel and they performed very well. I'd like to try the target hybrid. Will the hybrids likely shoot as well and close to the same charge weight?

Hard to say if they will shoot as well or even better than the vlds. The charge weights will be close but always start a littler lower and work up. My old 260 would shoot the hybrids and vlds identically, took .2gr more for the hybrids though.
