Looking at doing a depth test this weekend on my BR shooting the 109 LRHT. Ive read conflicting info from Berger - one says start at .015" off and increase .005" from there (that is a lot of rounds in a primer shortage). They also say their VLD test works for the LRHT (6 rounds each starting either .010 jump or jam then increase by .040" for subsequent groups). I even considered just simply doing a 3 shot group jumping by .010 starting at the lands.

What method does the majority use?

Have you worked up a load or starting out? If you have one worked up the first set. If you are starting fresh the second
