Best .22LR setup for under $1,000

Re: Best .22LR setup for under $1,000

I recently bought a Savage Mark II TR, a Weaver Tactical Grand Slam 3-10 X 40 1/10 Mil, Mil-Dot scope, Harris S-BRM Bipod, a Diversified Innovation Products Savage 20 MOA scope mount, Ultimate BiPod Locking Lever and Weaver Tactical 1" rings for about $900.00. Now I have a trainer set up similar to my other bolt gun that I can practice with for proper technique, plus a heck of a lot cheaper when it comes to ammo. Lots of good advice on here and I see others have posted above on the Savage. I am pleased so far with the set-up and just need lots more trigger time...JaxOps
