Best 6.5 AR Barrel??

Hi guys -

I hope I'm not kicking the beehive here, but here goes... I am thinking of building a 6.5 grendel. Who makes the best 6.5mm AR barrel?

Satern Barrels makes the best Grendel barrels. But act very fast as the contract between Alexander Arms and Satern Barrels has just been terminated and they will only accept orders until May 31st.

Check the onhand inventory on the Satern website, as they have a few ready to go with bolt included. I purchased a couple, and both have been very accurate.

If you can wait, I think that Short Action Customs can get Krieger barrels and chamber for 264 lbc, but it might take a little while.

Wonder if they will offer the 264 LBC after the date???? I would opt for the LBC offering if an option!!

Their is a 6.5 Grendel Saturn barrel in the for sale section right now.

I thought I saw a Krieger too but now I don't see it, maybe the Krieger was a 6.5 creed.

Wow, that sucks. Bad move for the Grendel and for Alexander Arms. Satern barrels absolutely hammer. The fluted barrels that Satern were doing were simply awesome - super light and super accurate. Any guys that are looking for Grendel barrels should get their orders in to Satern like yesterday!

They're all good. The competition these days is so great to make good barrels among the major makers, and the machinery used being computer controlled ---- they are all good barrels. Don't fret about that. Get what profile and length you want and a smith competent with AR's to mount it all up for you and shoot and have lots of fun.

Bought one of the last ones they had immediately available today. By all accounts I doubt I'll regret it.
