U.S,
Hey guys. Wiping all this Johnson wax off is getting old. Any suggestions for a spray release agent? I tried the brownells offering. Seems legit. Just wondering what else is efficient? Also what do you typically use to clean off your release agent? Thanks.

I don't know what is the best from experience but the bedding done by LRI makes the prettiest pictures I've seen so I use what they use. You can buy it from their website.

I've used Johnson floor wax paste and used the stuff from LRI. They both produce great results, the Mclube from LRI is faster to apply and results are great!

Just google "mold release spray"

Dozens of industrial silicone based sprays will do it

99% of gun-specific chemicals, lubricants, and cleaners are a fucking ripoff.

Another vote for the McLube 1700L, been using it for years and never a problem. The Brownells stuff is good, but film thickness is too much for me.
