Hey guys, I’m new here and just started reloading again. This forum has proved to be a wealth of knowledge. I’m sure it will save me a ton of money on powder and primers. I am reloading .308, 6.5 Creedmore, 6.5 Grendel, and 223 for right now. I used the search function and didn’t see where anyone else asked this question. I plan to just buy factory ammo to shoot and then reload the brass since finished ammo isn’t that much more expensive than just the brass. My question is will one brand be significantly better than any other just for the brass? Most of what I have now is Hornady but I noticed there is a big weight difference in Hornady and Federal brass with the Federal being significantly heavier. I would like to just buy ammo and recycle brass but if there is a compelling reason to buy just brass I’m open to any ideas. So what does the brain trust here say? Thanks for any grains of wisdom you can offer.
