So I have decided to build one of my REECEs into a 300 Blackout, who makes the best barrel, and what else do I need to know?

Noveske has always made a hell of a barrel and they make 300BLk

Well after looking at Noveske and AAC for a few dollars more AAC has a KAC forend, which I like much better than the Troy from Noveske, but Noveske has a stainless barrel where AAC's is chrome moly with a nitrade coating, how does that hold up?

the nitride coating will make the barrel last a lot longer than one in the white and corrosion resistant to boot, unfortunately, once nitided this barrel is now practically impossible to machine so make sure it is the length and profile you want cause you are stuck with that.
I have an SI defense barrel it is inexpensive and it shoots great too

We have had really good luck with the AAC and Noveske barrels.

I went with Noveske. Their price includes a gas tube and pinned gas block so it's not much difference compared to others that I looked at. DSG Arms/Noveske/Rainier gives LEO/MIL discounts if applicable.

I'm curious though, is the nitrate coating for rust, etc, or is it a alternative to chrome lining?

noveske uses SWS rails last time i checked. did they start using troy's? i don't like troy's rails

They use Troy Extremes for the Rogue Hunter uppers.
