Best hunting shotgun sight

I chose acro P2 for the closed emitter, rugged nature of aimpoint optics, and small size. Mine is on a turkey gun and I'm pretty rough on it. Previously used an RMR and it's great except for getting dirt and mud in it.

A shotgun is meant to be pointed, not aimed. I prefer Simple BB site on end bbl. On my Turkey gun, I do like the smaller midridge BB 1/2 down bbl. It has killd good number of Turkeys

had a Burris Fastfire reflex sight on one of my guns for a while and it was a love hate relationship. For ground targets it was great, aerial targets I was not as happy with. I would not have liked to turn it on and play with the brightness adjustments in a defensive role

Understand your comments, but old school, red dots on shot guns are becoming a great add. I have them on both my home defense shot gun and Benelli SBE and they are great.
If you're truly a shotgunner, I don't think you do understand, I see no red dots in the duck blinds, trap and skeet fields, dog trials... etc. but hell,,,,I am old school, if you're not looking at your target with 100 percent concentration, your odds of maximum pellets on target drop!! SBE,, maybe you're a water fowler, probably 28-inch barrel, some type of aftermarket choke tube,,,,,,whoopee.... You get to Missouri, pm me, we will get together and shoot some shotguns, we will discuss old school, anytime.... have a good day.

Probably blasphemous to shoot pheasants in SD with a stock M4 with pistol grip and ghost ring then?

Works pretty well on a sporting clays course too😁

Not judgmental at all are you...nice to know I cannot be a "true" shotgunner if I do not fit into your perimeters or think like you...so much for a forum where we are supposed to be able to share ideas. Don't worry, won't be PMing you anything soon, not interested in your old school closed mindedness.

Between eo tech Aimpoint micro h2 or acro p2 and rmr
Already have a eo tech just wanting to know what would be best.
Jarrett, I am running a SRO on my Benelli and a Holosun HS407K-X2 on my Mossberg 940 Tactical and both are great. I don't think there is a best, it is up to you on what works best for you on your gun and what you are shooting. Whatever you go with, enjoy red dot shotgun shooting.

I've learned one thing on here... The old school boomer fudds can't comprehend that if it doesn't cost $3,500+ then they don't think it's worth a shit. That goes for scopes, guns, etc... And if you can't afford that, then you're "a poor". It's a very elitist herd mentality. Most can't comprehend that what might cost under $1000 now (thanks to technology), used to cost $2,500+ back 20 years ago. I was in the industry 20 years ago...I've seen the transformation of technology leading to much lower-priced things with features once only found on elite-tier products. It's pretty crazy to have watched the transformation happen. A ton of it has been just in the last 5-10 years alone.
