I'm still relatively new here and have learned a lot, but I'd like to tap the collective experience here with regards to quality glass in different price ranges. In order to establish at least some kind of continuity I'll say that these scopes should be designed for tactical/competition use at ranges of 500 yards or further, and at least 10x in magnification (fixed or variable). Price categories are:

$0 - $300
$300 - $600
$600 - $1000
$1000 - $1500
$1500 - $2000
$2000+

So, what are your pics?

$1000 - $1500: IOR 3-18
