I'm pretty set on getting the new 5-25 with H-58 reticle and locking turrets and was wondering what everybody's go to place the best prices and short waits. Also somewhere that has a MIL discount and ships to an APO would be good but not necessary.
Where do you guys get yours?

Re: Best place for new Schmidt & Benders

Most vendors here are GTG. They enjoy working with customers for the most part. Their reputation is ridding on a very small groups of people. I have done several transactions with Jay at Sportsoptics (Opticspecialist here). Top notch performer. No problem with that is more than happy to do future purchasing with him.

Re: Best place for new Schmidt & Benders

With their massive price increase that just took place, I would say anyone that has what you want in stock at pre Nov. 2011 cost.

Re: Best place for new Schmidt & Benders

Alex at EuroOptic, I've been dealing with him exclusively for 7+ years maybe longer. First class operator for all your high end Optic needs

Cheers

EuroOptics: A great organization that has grown by leaps and bounds over the last 7 years that I have been dealing with them. The reason they have grown is very simple, customer service and good prices.

Re: Best place for new Schmidt & Benders

Holy Shit prices have went up on S&B's. And typical, I'm waiting for the funds from a rifle I just sold to buy a PMII and see that it went up almost eight hundred bucks on EuroOptics website.

Fucking hell, $3029 bucks for a non-illuminated PMII in 4x16x50.

Its amazing how much optics cost now days. Theory: companies can only charge (MAX) how much they charge the public for gov contracts... Raised retail price = less $ wasted on their "discounted" rates to gov.

That's my conspiracy theory.
