I use the mil/mil (Mil-R) only because it's what I learned first. MOA (MOAR) is probably easier for some due to the near 1"/100 yd approximation.

Illumination is a big plus for low light hunting conditions. I mostly hunt with my rifles so I always opt for illumination especially on any FFP optic.
