Best size Pelican case for AICS AX Chassis w/20" Barrel?

Here's the deal, I'm wanting to purchase a Pelican case from my Surgeon. I'd like to have the 1720 due to the AX chassis being able to save space by folding the stock, however, I'm unsure of how to go about cutting the foam in order to accommodate the chassis when it's broken down. Have any of you done this, or would it be less hassle to just get the 1750 and not have to mess with it?

I'm wanting to set mine up something like the photo below. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you go to Pelican Cases | Pelican Case | CasesByPelican.com they will do a custom cut on your foam, not cheap but it looks great. You send them a tracing of your rifle/mags/acc/etc in the places you want them on butcher paper and they cut the foam exactly how you want. Just a thought, it is still cheaper than buying a case with foam and the tools to cut it yourself.
