i need to know what is the best way to pull bullets. i have one of the hammer style pullers but i have about 350 to do and there has to be a better way..

I use one of the Hornady collet puller that mounts in the press. As long as you take the time to set it up right, you'll do no more damage than the kinetic pullers do. It's a hell of a lot faster too.

Just to throw this in the ring, but I've learned to sway away from the 'hammer' style due to the fact that it damages/fractures the priming composition.
I've posted this before, showing all the yellow 'powdery-stuff' that came out of a number of live rounds I had pulled. Heck of a mess, and we're wanting a collet puller here now.

I think it is Davidson that makes a plier type puller, you just put the loaded ctg. in a shell nolder raise the bullet above the top of the press. grab it with the appropriate hole in the pliers and lower the ram, easy a pie.

Another vote for the Hornady press mounted puller.
If setup correctly, no pull marks.

I borrowed a buddy's "hammer type" to pull a few bullets several years ago. I wish it had been mine so I could have thrown the piece of crap in the garbage.
I got an RCBS collet puller and it works fine.

i had to pull 100 rounds with a hammer type a few weeks back after i figured out that something was wrong with my die. NEVER AGAIN
i did find that linoleum floors work great and most bullets came out with one hit.

After not much use my kinetic puller has pretty much had it. The internal threads have become worn and the alu collet has deformed.
Was pulling some .303 cases and one actually came out the back of the puller striking me in the forehead leaving a vivid red imprint of a .303 case head! Was a comedy moment to be sure, though not if it had struck me in the eye! My mistake but I'm looking for a different system to pull bullets now...
