Beta shooting chrony

Well I shot my first 10 reloads through my new Beta chrony that my wife got me for Xmas. I was a little stunned on the readings so Im searching to find out if this sounds correct or not.

Conditions-
40 degrees
Cloudy w/1 to 3mph winds
Steady Baro
Humidity @ 60%
Rounds-10 Chrony set at 10feet

Now someone was kind enough to provide a quickload to me awhile back for this load and it was saying I should be getting around 2575. Thoughts on the readings? Im looking at almost 200fps difference. Also I tested this out at 2400fps on a 7" steel target at 300yd and sure enough it was 6moa of elev dead on.

nope your not blind Jason, but id assume that the bullet being used is a 175 SMK...that is a light load, im running 45.7 grains up to about 46.4 grains of RE15, just for your reference i was shooting the 115 Scenar out of a 19 inch barrel and getting right around 2800 fps

If it was a week ago I would have said probably "ice" bullets. Sh*t... it's been cold here. I don't own enough clothes to be outside much the last couple of weeks.

I didn't see a projectile listed either.

Hey Vic I prolley shouldve just sent you an email on this one. Projectile and twist posted. Yeah my son and I froze our asses off last Sat and Sun deer huntin. Ok Vic I know your position on the Chronys from reading your other posts but in my wifes best interest she bought this for me out of her own blessed heart unfortunatley. Next time Ill be a little more specific on which brand she should buy...lol. For now Ill just make due.

I guess a good question is 10feet from muzzle to chrony to far for a 308?

I have thought mine was reading low before and tested against other chrono's and
other known loads and it is on. I have also experienced a 22-250 that shot way under
advertised speeds due to an oversized chamber. Having the barrel set back and
re-chambered took the same batch of loads from the mid 3400's to 3800 fps.
