I have been wanting a rock polisher/steel pin brass cleaning set up for a while but just could not pull the trigger when I was getting really good down range results with my current tumbler / media set up. After a little convo another member I decided to put his buddy's claims to the test:

you can use a tumbler with nothing more that dawn soap and get results similar to that of a rock polisher and steel pins. Please click on link below. I tried to anticipate questions you might have but please feel free to ask. I am not trying to debunk anything, I'm just looking for a way to use what I have to improve my own experience and share that info with the group.

I have a STM set up that's the Tumbler Thumbler Model B and I remove primers and tumble for 3-4 hours (overkill). The brass looks brand new though.

If I was to do it again I would have bought the larger model they sell now they can hold a lot more brass but they didn't make it when I purchased my set up.

There is no way I would put in 24 hours to do a lot of brass as my 3-4 hours is a pain enough.
