Just buy the gun, it will probably shoot better than you can. If anything, I would inquire about breakn-in. That's a pain in the but, better off having a gunsmith shoot, clean,shoot,clean...breaking-in a barrel can take some time but make sure they clean with a bore guide. That's really important to me.
IMO, the biggest cause of barrel problems is cleaning. If the dealer is not careful they can mess up your barrel with rough handling cleaning rods etc. So if your not sure about the integrity of your gunsmith or dealer....just take gun home and do all the work your self.
