Hi shooters, the next BGTC Precision Rifle Match is on June 9, 2012. Now is the time to send me your emails for your shoot times. Remember we are shooting in two classes now, Bolt action rifles and AR-Semi-Autos. Here is the course of fire for this match. Hope to cya on 6/9. Larry

*100 yds, 5 one inch dots, one shot at each dot, 2 minute prep time, 90 seconds to engage all five dots, the round must at least break the edge of the dot to count for score
*200 yds, 1 two inch dot, 5 shots, 2 minute prep time, 90 seconds to fire all 5 rounds at the two inch dot, the round must at least break the edge of the dot to count for score
*300 yds, 5 four inch round plates, 1 shot at each plate, 2 minute prep time, two minutes to engage all five plates
*385 yds, 440 yds & 500 yards combined-each shooter will engage his assigned steel plate at each of the three distances all within the same course of fire. three rounds will be fired at each steel plate. shooters can engage the targets in any order, all three plates must be engaged [that means at least one round must be fired at each plate]. total round count for this stage is nine rounds, THE MAXIMUM HITS PER PLATE FOR WHICH YOU WILL RECEIVE POINTS IS 3 HITS PER PLATE, 2 minute prep time, 5 minutes to engage all three plates and fire all 9 rounds, 3 rounds fired at each plate
POINT VALUE FOR ALL HITS IN THE FIRST 4 STAGES = 5 POINTS PER HIT
*Barricade Stage:
4 shots in total, 2 shots kneeling & 2 shots standing all using the barricade as support, shooter starts standing, then goes to kneeling, 2 minute prep time, 3 minutes to fire all four rounds, the target configuration is as follows:
*the shooter picks one distance at which he will engage a BLUE plate. there will be a BLUE plate at 200 yds, 300 yds and 385 yds. you must shoot all 4 shots at the same BLUE plate.
before the shooter commences the stage he must tell the range officer which distance he is shooting to and must only engage that one BLUE plate at the one distance with all 4 shots. hits at 200 yds are worth 8 points, hits at 300 yards are worth 12 points, hits at 385 yds are worth 15 points.

*total round count for the match = 28 rounds
[note muzzle velocity is limited to no greater than 3000 fps, ammo no larger than 300 win mag]
