I have my own "thing" that I do on occasion, but what are some things that you all are doing to make shot strings more difficult in terms of personal fitness (Irregardless of shooting position)?

Example 1: On the call of a cold range I might make it a point to be the last person down-range with the goal of being the first person to return (elevating the hear rate slightly) and the first person to touch one off and see what kind of accuracy I am able to achieve.

Example 2: On the start of a shot string, focus on breathing cycle/bolt manipulation (breathe in, open the bolt; breathe out, clost the bolt; breathe in, confirm sight picture; breathe out, fire and follow-through).

Semi auto rifles may eliminate the first in/out breathing cycle.
