Just completed a 308 build with a zermatt big horn origin action, proof 20" carbon barrel and timney elite hunter trigger. After completing the build, i popped in a mag with 308 snap caps and about every 5/6 cycles of the bolt the firing pin goes off/decocks itself when closing the bolt. I took out the mag and cycled the bolt again and still experienced the same thing happening. My question is , has anyone had this happen before, is there something in my build I missed that might be making this happen or is there a fault with the bolt/firing pin/action? Any help would be appreciated. I'll see if i can upload a short video tomorrow. Thanks in advance for any help

What trigger and what is the trigger set at? Is the trigger new or used?

Take it out of the stock and see if it does it with no action bolts stressing the action.
If it does, then look to the trigger, swap it out.
See which part the problem tracks with. It may be one specific part, or a specific combination of certain parts. 2lbs is the bottom of that triggers advertised range. That may well be it.
