Bighorn Origin question

So I have a couple of TL3’s. I like bighorn, and what they offer.

I’m looking at an Origin for a hunting build. Does anybody know what prefit they take? Will the same shouldered barrels for a TL3 fit them? Thanks guys.

Bighorn/Zermatt posted this info on the forum before. Try a search for it. If I recall the origins use the same tenon as the long action TL3/SR3, so those prefits should work.

Yeah, to use the short action TL3 barrels on an Origin.

Hunts Long range has the lugs for the Short action Origin to use SA TL3 barrels.

The short action TL3 is .1 shorter than all the other zermatt tenons due to the longer aw mag cut option. You can replace the origin recoil lug with the hunts long range lug to make it the same as the short action tl3.
All other zermat tenons are the same as the origin.

Assuming short actions

TL3 barrels on origin = hunts lug
Origin barrels on TL3 = barrel spacer

Probably overthinking this. But is there any actual down side to the thinner lug? I like the proof prefit options for bighorns but they only have really light or really heavy for the origin. The tl3 has more intermediate options available from proof.

Is that a proof prefit? Looks like it could be their competition contour. What caliber? Good looking rifle!

Most companies now are making prefits specifically for the origin. The proofs are awesome. I have a carbon in 6.5 creed and just ordered a stainless in 6 dasher from altus that should be here next week.
